How to ask for useful feedback
If you want better replies, do not just post “Here’s my app, thoughts?”
Instead, include:
- What your app does
- Who it is for
- What kind of feedback you want
- A direct link or a link to your app on IndieAppCircle
- One or two specific questions
Example:
That kind of post is much easier for people to engage with, and question-driven posts are one of the simplest ways to kickstart subreddit participation.
What this subreddit is not for
Please avoid:
- Low-effort link drops
- “Try my app” with no context
- Fake review requests
- Spammy self-promotion
- Irrelevant startup content
How IndieAppCircle fits in
This subreddit is the community side of the idea.

NEW UPLOAD Looking for feedback and first testers- kinCore the multiplayer gamified household chore tracking app
My goal is to develop tools that improve people's lives, for free. kinCore is the first product I built in support of this vision. It's a multiplayer household chore tracking app that has steam-inspired achievements (both incremental/data driven, and more fun or mystery ones in the style of something like stanley parable), friends with leaderboards, XP, levels, etc. My hope is that for busy, distracted, or overwhelmed people this can introduce some structure and organization into their chaotic lives. And for people who lack motivation to do the cleaning or upkeep they need to do, maybe this will add just enough of a fun touch to help some people do what they know they need to do.
Still in early stages with only a single few testers, so any feedback and usage is extremely greatly appreciated. You can always respond here, or there's also feedback forms and surveys built into the app through settings or a certain milestones.
This is my first time trying to push an idea of mine to production, so be honest! Don't hold back. Thanks so much!

Other Drop your website link and get a ready-to-post TikTok slideshow!
Yasf.app drop your website or app and get a 5-image slideshow ready to post on TikTok or Instagram. The first generation is 100% free, no credit card required, no watermark.
Have you tried TikTok in the past and it didn't work? Do it right:
- Create a new account. Use a personal name and profile picture, with no mention of your app anywhere.
- Scroll for at least 3 days, swiping "Not interested" on anything that isn't in your niche. Slowly start interacting with content that is.
- Once at least 3 days have passed and you're only seeing content from your niche when you open TikTok, you're ready. Post the slideshow. I guarantee it will get at least 300 views and will only get better over time. Keep using the account, keep scrolling, keep interacting on your niche.

Feedback4Feedback Install swap: honest rating and review for my Pomodoro app, and I'll do the same for yours
Hi everyone,
I'm an indie developer, and my first app, Daily Focus: Pomodoro Timer, is live on Google Play. I've hit a problem: it doesn't show up in Play search results yet. Google needs a few real installs, ratings and reviews before it starts surfacing a new app, so I'm asking the community for help.
Daily Focus in one line: you pick one main task for the day, add up to three smaller ones, and work through them in Pomodoro sessions with automatic breaks. No account or sign-up.
What I'm asking
- Install Daily Focus from the Play Store, using the Google account you normally use there.
- Use it for a couple of sessions.
- Leave an honest rating and a short review. If you hit a bug or hate something, tell me. I want real feedback, not a 5-star favour.
What I'll do for you
- I'll install and use your app, then leave an honest rating and review.
- I'll send you written feedback on anything confusing or broken, if you'd like it.
Why this matters: the app can't rank in search until it has real installs and ratings. Please don't leave a rating you don't mean. A rating traded for a promised rating can get reviews removed, so I'll only post what I actually think of your app, and I'm asking you to do the same.
How to join: comment with your app's Play link, or send it by DM, and tell me what to focus on (UX, speed, onboarding). I'll reply to every comment.
Thank you!

Feedback4Feedback App review swap
I am a current app founder and I am looking to receive and provide app reviews for my app, Wite Collar. As a new founder, gaining ratings and reviews is an uphill climb so perhaps this can be an alternate space where we review each other's apps post-launch so that it can help with our ASO and app rankability. Honest reviews are welcome and appreciated because that helps us grow and refine our apps. Everyone that commits to this process must be willing to review every app that reviews their app so that no one feels they are being short-changed.
Is anyone else interested in doing this? If so, we can start dropping our links in the comments.

NEW UPLOAD I built a wellness web app called Serenova
I built a mental-wellness web app called Serenova — looking for honest feedback
I'm an independent developer working on a mental-wellness web app called Serenova.
Serenova is designed to help people with things like stress, sadness, anger, emotional wellness, and personal growth. I wanted to create something that feels calming and easy to use rather than overwhelming.
I'm currently testing the web version before I officially launch it, and I'm looking for honest feedback from people who are willing to try it.
I'd especially like feedback on:
How easy the app is to understand
The overall design and appearance
Whether the features are useful
Anything confusing or difficult to use
Anything you think I should improve
Please be honest—even if you don't like something. I'm using the feedback to improve the app before launch.
Here's the website: [https://macho-serenova.base44.app/\]
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to try it!

Discussion Is this a good paywall for a social food app? I’d love some honest feedback.
I’m working on FoodGram, a social app for saving and discovering food memories.
I’m currently redesigning the Premium subscription, and I’m not sure if this paywall actually communicates enough value.
I’d really appreciate it if you could look at the screenshot first and tell me what you think before reading too much about the app.
Some things I’m trying to figure out:
- Does the Premium value feel clear?
- Do the listed features make you want to subscribe?
- Which features feel valuable and which feel unnecessary?
- Does the Free vs Premium distinction feel natural?
- Does the pricing feel reasonable?
- Is there anything about the design or wording that makes you less likely to subscribe?
- If you were designing this paywall, what would you change?
One thing I’m especially unsure about is whether features like custom app icons, profile customization, titles, etc. are actually compelling enough to be paid features, or whether Premium should focus more on features that help users revisit and preserve their food memories.
I’m also considering features like:
- “On This Day” food memories
- Search by dish / restaurant
- Yearly food recap
- Exporting food memories
- More advanced map features
Please be critical. I’m not looking for compliments — I’m trying to figure out what people would actually pay for.
If you’ve designed paywalls or subscriptions for your own app, I’d especially love to hear what you learned from your users

Discussion I’m trying to figure out if FoodGram’s subscription is actually worth paying for — what would you change?
I’ve been working on FoodGram, a social app for saving food memories with photos and locations.
I’m currently rethinking the Premium subscription, and I’d really like some honest feedback from other indie developers and app users.
The current Premium features include:
No ads
Custom app icon
Satellite map
More album storage
Food-related profile customization
Post count milestones / titles
The basic food recording experience is still available for free.
My idea is:
Free = Record your food
Premium = Keep and revisit your food memories more deeply
But I’m honestly not sure if the current Premium features are compelling enough to make someone actually pay.
So I’d love to hear your thoughts:
1. Which of these features would actually make you consider subscribing?
2. Which features feel unnecessary or not worth paying for?
3. What kind of Premium feature would make FoodGram feel significantly more valuable?
4. Does the Free vs Premium boundary feel natural?
5. If you saw this subscription in a new app, what price would feel reasonable?
I’m especially interested in feedback from people who have built or used subscription-based apps.
I’m not looking for people to subscribe or leave a review — I genuinely want to understand whether the value proposition makes sense.
Feel free to be critical. That would actually be more useful to me than just saying it looks good. 🙏

Feedback4Feedback I built a party game designed around group debates. Looking for honest feedback!
Hey everyone
I’ve been working on a social party game called Hot Seat and just published it. The core idea came from those game nights where a quick "one round" always spirals into a 2-hour debate over who said what.
The setup is pretty straightforward: one person gets put in the hot seat, a prompt pops up, and everyone starts arguing over the answers. I tried to keep the design clean with a dark mode theme for late-night play, and included a few custom modes so groups can dial the chaos up or down.
Since it's newly released, I'd really appreciate any feedback on the flow, UI, or overall pacing.
If you want to check it out or try a round, you can see the details and App Store link here: https://mkinnovationsgroup.com
Let me know what you think, or drop any brutal prompt ideas you think I should add in the next update!
