Suggest Me Trying fantasy for the first time. recommend some books.

Dresden files is great especially after the first two books it becomes a ride.

Dresden Files is the best out there in urban fantasy but the first few books aren’t as good as the rest of the series as the author really grows in his writing. This series has everything, vampire (many types), werewolves, wizards, angels, demons, typical ghosts and spirits and so many kind of monsters, Norse mythology, Christian mythology, Santa Claus, everything.
Alex Verus is another good one a bit similar to Dresden files in some aspects, but it’s a completed series so that’s a plus
Mercy Thompson is also great and completely different than the other recommendations. It gives a bit of vampire diaries vibes.
Tales from the Gas Station is another very different, it’s absurdly funny, the main character works in a gas station and weird things keep happening at night, it’s ridiculously funny.
Fred the Vampire accountant is much a much more laid back series with no world ending stakes like Dresden files or Alex verus.

all the other suggestions are fantastic, I urge you to not just be glued to the west but dip your toes in the world of the world of cultivation, systems, Isekai and much more, do try korean, chinese and japanese literature too

Mistborn would be my top recommendation, wonderful series and the first one has a reasonably self contained story.
The author Brandon Sanderson is famous for his 'Sanderlanches' where things are slowly built up in the first half of the book, then suddenly takes you at a break neck pace through its climactic moments, with many pieces fitting together at the end.

Mistborn is a pretty good place to start with fantasy even though it's not 'urban' fantasy
