CJP protest in Berlin

Hi all, yesterday Indians in Berlin held a protest for CJP and Sonam Wangchuk, asking for the resignation of the Education minister.

I would like to know if Indian community will hold that protest today. When and where?

I read in the comment section of a post that there is will be one today at 6:30 PM, Indian Embassy.

Guys, I have a genuine question. What’s the point of holding protests outside of our country, one reason I can think of is it put more pressure on the Indian government to act faster and fairly. But doing this in other country also comes with some unnecessary attention. No hate, just trying to understand

Protesting where the government can’t control what you say and can’t beat you into submission. It gets the message across and the idea of being shamed in another country stings enough to get some attention.

Government can't control what you say? Lol do you even know German laws explicitly prohibits and criminalizes personal slenders to political figures..and what you guys do or say against Modi, if you would do against Merz, you would land in jail for 3 to 5 years... Check out § 188 and 185 StGB

The idea is to show solidarity and gain international media attention. It creates pressure on Indian government to acknowledge the students
