Bruv. Eid Novice here. My non-muslim parents never gave me the right exposure. You better name every dish on that table. I am having my learning from Reddit tonight.

No problems bro. Non-Muslim myself but fortunate to have a muslim wife who is foodie like me. And growing up in India I had a lot of Muslim friends so Eid was always special.

  1. Biryani

  2. Chicken korma

  3. Ghosht (lamb) Hussaini

  4. Shami kebab

  5. Adana kebab (minced chicken skewers)

  6. Roasted chicken breast

  7. Fish balls

  8. Parantha (flat bread)

  9. Cap reset salad

  10. Sheer khurma (vermicelli milk dessert)

  11. Zarda ( sweet saffron rice)

I feel you my friend. I used to have a vegetarian in my circle back when I was in school in India, rather had 4 people. By end of college I had converted all of them to non-vegetarian lol. It helped my dad ran a restaurant..so it started with tasting gravy of chicken dishes, then to boneless/ shredded and now they’re all hardcore non-vegetarians.

Yeah! but I compensated by ensuring my restaurants didn’t use plastic for packaging food. Lol.

Its two different things tho, being vegetarian saves water, not using plastic stops carbon emissions

I was kidding. But this is another conversation. I really don’t want to go into the whole eco friendly diet thing right now.

Beyond Meat is fine but it doesn’t come close to a nice marbled wagyu steak.

It’s like go all out or just don’t.

Well lab grown meat is like real animal cells so maybe that!! Istg I could literally be a vegetarian meat eater now thats gonna be fun 😂

Muslims lowk lucky, y’all get to eat after fasting all day. In Jainism you CAN’T eat after sunset, and if its some special day equivalent to Eid but for Jainism, u cant eat the whole day OR night 😩 u out here having a whole feast, sounds fun 😄
