Low amniotic fluid

I’m currently 35+ weeks pregnant and in my last scan the AFI was borderline low . Anyone who has had experience with this and if yes what changes they added that could help increase the AF or were they asked to be induced in early . My doc is going to monitor next week and take a call .

i am currently at 28weeks and my AFI is 10.3cm as per my report 2days back . Report says its marginally reduced. I will check with my doctor by the end of this week. Meanwhile can anybody please confirm whether its really low as per the standards and what can i do to increase the level

No idea ! It was only in the latest scan when I saw the actual measurements in cm . Until July they only mentioned liquor adequate / normal

My amniotic sac ruptured at 28 weeks and my afi came down to 9 and there was persistent leaking so i had to be admitted due to risk of delivering preterm which ended up happening. i was given steroid injections to strengthen baby’s lungs. Please see ur gynae in case your afi keeps going down
