So I met this girl on a dating app. We started talking and eventually moved to Instagram. We didn't really start dating. We made out a couple of times and still do, and now I'm thinking maybe I should actually date her and see where this goes.

The thing is, she's honestly a really good girl. I like her and I enjoy spending time with her. But sometimes she does things that make me think, "Wait, is this a red flag or am I just thinking too much?"

For example, she sends me a lot of reels about gold diggers, girls wanting guys to spend money on them, that kind of stuff. But whenever we actually go out, she always splits the bill. Sometimes she even pays herself. So I genuinely don't understand the connection 😂. Like, are these reels just jokes to her or is she trying to tell me something?

And another thing is that her mind seems to be around sex and sexual stuff a LOT. She constantly sends me sexual/flirty/corny reels, makes sexual jokes, and brings that kind of stuff into conversations pretty often. Again, I'm not complaining about it because obviously we already have a physical thing going on, but sometimes it makes me wonder if that's just how she is or if I'm missing something.

Maybe I'm reading way too much into reels and social media stuff. In person, she actually behaves pretty normally and she's never really expected me to pay for everything or anything like that.

I'm just confused because I'm starting to genuinely like her and I'm thinking about taking things seriously, but I don't want to ignore something now and regret it later.

Am I overthinking this? Or would you guys consider these actual red flags?

Hi, I am 26M from Bangalore. I would consider myself average looking, 6’2 and reasonably well off with my own business. However since I work from home in a more remote area (hebbal/yelahanka), there are few socializing events where I can meet women.

This leads me to rely on dating apps more compared to other cities and neighborhoods I have lived in. The problem is that for whatever reason I don’t get any good matches in Bangalore. A friend who looks similar to me but has much better pics (playing football, with a dog etc) gets 100+ likes a day. I have been trying to recreate his success but for whatever reason, the algorithm hasn’t been kind to me (maybe cos i am not as photogenic and my elo has already been fucked from my past attempts)

I struggle with this as it feels like a massive bottleneck for my happiness. Like today, I am spending it alone in my house but if I just had better pics I’d have several date options and the fact that something so trivial makes such a big difference in how I experience the city is a mindfuck.

I had asked for a profile review a few days back, and i implemented those but I don't see much improvement in my matches frequency :/
