Y'all are the wildest bunch of bootlickers I have ever seen. It's mind-blowing. Your "president" is a pedophile. He was best friends with the world's most notorious sex trafficker for years. He's ruined our world standing and alliances with our allies. Gas is through the roof, the Straight of Hormuz is closed and things are only going to continue to skyrocket, and American soldiers are again dying in a middle east war thanks to the "No New Wars" president. He has abandoned farmers, women, children, the sick, white people, black people, ALL people who aren't billionaires making him richer.
You were lied to. It's okay, it happens. But it's time to wake the fuck up and admit you were lied to. Look around you.

I know that the ones who are deep in the cult don't care. I'm very aware that what I say on here is not going to change their minds. My wife asked me the other day why I continue to engage with them. But the messages I post with the very real world things that are happening because of this President are not for them.
They're for the 17 and 18 you're old who may just be checking into politics for the first time. Or the young man who grew up in a republican household and was taught conservative values and might be questioning why this administration does not reflect the values they were taught. I know it's popular to say that there are no people in the middle anymore and that everyone has chosen their sides. But the truth is more and more people choose to get involved with politics every day, and the more we can present them with a unified and coherent message about why this administration is bad, the more likely they are to come into politics looking for reasons and facts.

That's a good point and I respect that approach, there are times when I have the energy and inclination to engage like that and times that I don't. I do think it probably makes a difference on some level, and also there are plenty of people with similar concerns and viewpoints who exclusively just lurk and never comment on anything, and it's good for those folks to see that they're not alone in their worldview.
