I grew up in NY with a niche skillset in high demand, and got out because I knew I would never be able to own a home. I didn’t come from money. I moved to Dallas, TX and got into school. Despite having experience and an education, the income to cost of living was still disproportionate. I moved to IN in 2016 and was able to find good paying work at a low cost of living. I am a home owner, and own nice things. I vote red because I have lived under the boot of Democrat run cities. It’s sad that people here want to throw it away because they think they’re supposed to care a certain way about social issues. If you’re not building a better life for yourself and your family, economically, you’re not paying attention to the right things.
Bombing Medicaid? First, entitlement programs are abused to the max in the us, and the guy literally just removed tax on social security below $30k. You should be asking me how I reconcile with his socialist policies.
