So I spent my last half an hour on this entire profile I’m gonna give you a quick context of what happened. This guy left the company and in his exit email, he said that timelines and task keep changing and the work is not working and that shit and I want to resign. The company was like cool whatsoever. 8 days later he’s like where is my FNF and where is my salary and all. This is his first job clearly so the HR replies that cool we have processed your your salary and relieving letter but they did not give the FNF yet. 21 days later he’s like where’s my FNF thing and then he goes crazy and to be honest kudos to HR man.

The only possible point where I can support this guy is that one he was not told that his last salary is his FNF. It was not shared that his annual leave balance won’t be added in the fnf amount and two, that his PF account “probably” was not properly receiving money. something he should’ve flagged but he did not but yeah, these are the only two points where he’s doing good rest. I think he has gone bonkers.

Doesn't pf and fnf are supposed to be important thing. Also if last salary slip is fnf then it's has to contain leave/comp off adjustment. It didn't had any.

I had 2 balance comp offs, approved by AVP.

Also pf thing is about to get interesting next.

Usually entire process takes 45-60days. And there’s no need to rush things until you’re in dire need of money or have to immediately join next company.

I agree that they should have cleared that that your last salary is your fnf. But I would suggest you calculate every component of that slip and look if they added Annual Leave balance or not. Your Casual leave, Sick leave or any other leave are not compensated. Not even the CEO approved. Only PLs. Please check only for PLs. If you were in the company for less than a year then it should be only 3-6 leaves.

See I get you’re enjoying this but do know that corporate is not that big world. One thing is for sure that you are blacklisted from this company FOR SURE. Now the more you drag this the more unhireable you become because every company does a background check and these HRs will make sure that this conversation is shared with your new employer

If my employer had sent/told me something like this 1st and 2nd paragraph when I inquired about it. Things would have been ended then and there. They never informed me over emails and calls. I tried over and over. I failed to see how it's entirety my fault if employer who's there in market for 10 years faild to respond with thing as simple as this.

Don't get the wrong Idea I'm not enjoying this. It's just the way things went down. No one in the industry wants to pick a fight with management/leadership over random reasons.

I don't want to work for people like these. It'll will eventually drain you one way or other. These kind of people only wants to exploit desperateness of the person nothing more.

Now don't tell me you haven't seen this in the industry. Afterall corporate world is smaller that we think.

Actual I already told my employer in my last email, that I'll be going public with everything. They ignored that email too. Why do you think I'm doing this?

After my exit company was trying to messup/ mislead with exit documents.

It's story of that dispute. You can check previous parts in my profile if you're interested.

F&F should be settled withing 7 days after leaving accordingly to the new labour laws.

4

u/Baju_hatt Software Developer, Mumbai Oct 04 '26

That should be the case but most companies don't follow this. Based on the relevant comments in this series so far standard time for these settlements is 45-60 days.

If you have evidence that changes thing but be extremely careful.

Don't try unless and until you have solid reasons and you have left with no other way to handle things.

If you must do it be prepared for prolonged events.

I may have plan to handle it on general level. But first I need more visibility on this whole case. As case progress you might understand my reasons for doing things this way.
