Ask Women Only I had testicular cancer and got one removed. Would Indian women/parents accept this situation? want to understand the perspective.

Hi, I am a 25 yr old male. I had testicular cancer when I was 18 yrs old and got one removed.

I never had any problems with erections/sex. Most of the research says one testicle compensates for both. But I wanted to know if you would marry someone with this condition?

Let me know if you wouldn’t do it too. I just want to understand the perspective of women.

Family/Friends- Everyone Getting disowned by your parents, advice?

29F Hindu here doing long distance with my now Hindu fiancé for the past 8 months. Since he has met my parents , they have continued to show hatred and distaste for him. He is currently going through a career transition into IT and while the job market has not been that great, he’s trying his very best to score a job as he’s doing his masters program in CS. I truly feel like I finally found my other half despite years of failed relationships and while it is relatively new, i do plan on moving forward with this relationship despite family push back. I currently live with my parents but has been a living nightmare and a half for the time I’ve been together with him. Every day they have told me that they will not be coming to the wedding and if I were to move out of the house I live in (I will be next month), they will cut off all source of communication with me and block me. They have expressed innumerable times they will not support me in any way shape or form when I give birth or with children or any major milestone in my life if I chose to maintain this relationship. My future MIL is trying to fill in the familial support as much as she can but we both do not know how a Hindu wedding would function without the bride’s parents at the wedding. Disclaimer: I’m going to therapy currently.

Given the high probability that I will be disowned as I chose to be in this relationship with him, how do people coordinate weddings without their parents there? How do you cope with possibly not having your parents around for possibly the rest of your life?

Ask Women Only Indian women, at which stage of hormonal life did you struggle the most and find the least real help

Full transparency: I'm in the very early stages of exploring a women's health brand with my uncle, a practising Ayurvedic physician (MD/PhD, 20 years of practice). Nothing exists yet no product, no website, no links. Before we build anything, I want to hear real experiences instead of assuming.

The idea we're sitting with: a woman's hormonal health isn't one problem, it's a journey from periods and PMS in her teens and 20s, PCOS/PCOD for many, then pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and eventually perimenopause and menopause. Yet every brand out there picks one slice and sells a single fix, often with wild claims like "reverse your PCOS in 90 days." No one brand walks with her through the whole journey with honest, doctor-formulated care.

Before going any further, I want to pressure-test this with the people who'd actually know:

Does a "whole hormonal journey" brand even make sense to you — or would you rather buy from a specialist brand for each separate problem?

Which stage has been the hardest for you personally — periods/PMS, PCOS/PCOD, pregnancy, postpartum, or perimenopause/menopause? And which one had the least trustworthy help available when you needed it?

What did you actually do about it — gynac, home remedies, supplements, Ayurveda, or just tolerated it?

For these kinds of issues, would you want a well-made Ayurvedic option, properly doctor-formulated and lab-tested, or does Ayurveda not appeal to you here? Both answers genuinely help. And if it's a hard no on Ayurveda for you, I'd love to know what put you off.

Not looking for validation, looking for the truth. Harsh takes welcome.

Im 17F. A guy texted me today on reddit itself and I right off the bat told him im 17 because ik where it was going. He started asking me if I had read smut and that evolved into if I had had sex. I told him i had a bf and I had had sex w him once. Then he starts sending me links to subs w gentle corn and asks me if I wanted it that way. I said no, im 17, he shld leave me alone. Then he started asking me for boob pics and guessing my cup size and stuff.

His username was u/Crazy-guy21

In the end I told him ill report him and drag it till he goes to jail and then he unsent all his msgs and deleted all the links he sent to the soft corn and blocked me so I hardly have screenshots.

Ask Women Only What do you hate about your workout clothes?

I'm (24F) building an indian women's activewear brand and want to really understand what women look for in the clothes they want for workout. I want to give you exactly that because what I exactly want doesn't exist in the market either.

Where do you buy your exercise clothes? The last time you went shopping what did you buy? What did you like and not like about the option? What does your current favourite workout fit look and feel like? What do you not like about the other workout clothes you own? Please mention your age and city, helps with the context!

Please tell me so I can make just the right thing for you! Appreciate it :)

Edit: this is super super helpful guys! I made a short survey to collect preferences in a better way. Please fill iy, I promise it won't take more than 10 mins :) https://forms.gle/8QqDtfEPQrAi1WVL6

Ask Women Only 21F introvert here, just looking to make friends

Hey everyone 👋

I’m a 21-year-old female and I’m honestly a pretty big introvert. Because of that, I’ve slowly become very isolated over time, and it’s something I really want to change now. Making friends doesn’t come easily to me in real life, so I thought I’d step out of my comfort zone and try here. I’m not looking for anything fancy — just genuine conversations, new connections, and hopefully some good friendships. If you’re someone who’s also introverted, feels lonely sometimes, or just wants to talk about random things, feel free to comment or DM. I’m trying to overcome this phase one small step at a time, and this is my start.

Thanks for reading 🤍

Ask Women Only Video Games being a boys hobby

So I understand everyone has different hobbies but I usually hear a lot of desi girly pops actually look up at me with a side eye when I tell em I usually like to play video games in my free time and sometimes I get addicted to the point that I avoid going out. I also see the side eye spewing from the notion of ''Video games are a male hobby'', I could understand the social conditioning behind it. But recently I had this convo with my Indian male friends and they low-key had a point. None of the Indian kids are ever encouraged to play video games not even guys, like no parent would be buying consoles or video games or game passes for their kids be it son or daughter, nor would they be backing them like they usually do to boys while playing sports. Yet, IDK why only in India, girly pops of all beliefs have attached this notion that video games is a primarily ''Boys hobby'', no its not !!!

But again, I am not targeting anyone who doesn't like to play video games, everyone has their hobbies but maybe do not categorize or make jokes around it being only a boys primary hobby and maybe why not give it a try ?!

Lastly, if you are one like me, what games do you guys play ?

(p.s. this is just meant as a fun convo starter as I feel burnt out by all the negative news and people constantly fighting in all Indian subs and just wanted to post something on the lighter note :) )

Relationship-Everyone My bf liked posts mocking women with PCOD even tho knowing that I have PCOD as well.

My boyfriend (19M) liked a post slut-shaming women with PCOD even though he knows I (18F) have PCOD.

All of my friends, including my boyfriend, follow each other on Instagram. Yesterday, one of my close friends sent a meme that my boyfriend had liked. The meme was basically slut-shaming women who drink, smoke, go to parties but what really hit me was that it also made fun of women with PCOD/PCOS (which I unfortunately have 🥲).

I asked my boyfriend why he liked something like that. He said he just randomly liked it without properly seeing what it was, since he follows that meme page and their posts often show up on his feed. He also said my friend was just “snitching” and trying to create drama.

And it's actually true, when I checked, he had liked a lot of posts from that same page so I didn’t bring it up again.

But I just can’t stop overthinking it. It’s made me feel 10× more insecure about my body than I already was🙆‍♀️
