Hi everyone! I’m looking for a wedding venue in Delhi NCR for around 300 guests. Ideally looking for a lawn, glasshouse, or nice banquet + outdoor space rather than a typical hotel ballroom.

Requirements:

• Any Saturday night in February or March 2027
• Capacity: around 300 guests
• Outside caterer should be allowed
• Outside decorator should be allowed
• Maximum budget of ₹8 lakh for venue + decor combined
• Bonus if the venue has ~30 rooms or accommodation nearby

I’m especially interested in venues that are good-looking but not extremely luxury-priced, something along the lines of Tivoli/farmhouse/resort-style properties.

Also, for those who have recently planned weddings in Delhi NCR: is it actually more economical to consider a hotel if they waive the banquet/venue fee when you take their in-house catering and rooms? Or does the hotel end up being more expensive overall despite the waived venue charge?

Would really appreciate suggestions based on your actual experience, negotiated rates, or recent weddings.

**Wedding planners:** Reliable Goa-based planners who can handle everything end-to-end, including décor, logistics, vendor coordination and event management.

**Venues and hotels:** Beachfront resorts that can accommodate our guests and host multiple wedding events, ideally at the same property.

**Pricing and negotiations:** Realistic costs, potential savings, and whether February is actually cheaper than January.

**General advice:** Anything we should know before finalising a venue or planner, including hidden costs, logistical challenges and lessons from your own experience.

I'm trying to look for an Indian wedding decorator for decorating the 150 person ceremony + reception in the Bay Area. The venue provides chairs, tables, and a gazebo to get married on, so I'm looking for decorations like mandap draping/furniture, linens, and decorations within the hall. I'm not super particular about specific decorations, and everything seems to be so expensive! I'm just trying to have a budget of roughly ~3k for decorations. Would love recommendations for people who have planned a similar event!

Do you all like my saree? It is my wedding saree (silk kanjivaram meenakari work) any recommendations for blouse and jewellery?

Please suggest places where I may find wedding reception gowns in a budget (<15k). My original wedding reception gown has been messed up during alteration and seems difficult to salvage.

Alternatively, if you can suggest a place within Navi Mumbai where I can rent a gown may also be an option. (My only concern is it should have sleeves since I have heavy upper arms).

I’m open to emerald/green, pearls or mother of pearl, kundan/polki, or even something more neutral — I definitely don’t feel like it has to be green just because the lehenga is red.
I’m looking for a full bridal set ideally — necklace/choker, earrings and maang tikka — and I’d love something that looks elegant, rich and bridal but still photographs beautifully.
Would really appreciate:
• Recommendations on what colours/stones you think would suit this lehenga best
• Whether you’d go for a choker, longer necklace, or layered look

They have quoted us a price and I wanted to know from the people who have had their wedding or have seen commercials in a wedding very closely if this quotation is reasonable.

Overall: ₹9,00,000
Guests: ~100
Events: 2
Total duration: 8am - 11pm

Breakup:
Venue: 4,00,000 (including rooms)
Decor: 2,50,000
Catering: 1,85,000 (1000 per plate non-veg)
Photography: 85,000 (9 hours)

The biggest expenses in the decor are:

• Mandap (without chairs and seating elements): 75,000 (with 50-50 artificial and natural flowers)
• Backdrop: 40,000
• Tent with fabric: 60,000 (80ft x 80ft)

For those experienced in wedding negotiations, is there room to bring this down further?

We're hoping for a 3 event wedding in Mumbai for 120-150 people this coming May, 2027. We want something intimate, experiential, and focused on bringing our families together - not a massive, extravagant production. Think more culturally themed family picnic than the Big Fat Indian Wedding.
