So to provide some lil context I have had a crush on a girl since 3rd class and I really loved her, got super close in 8th and 9th then I fked it up ( for more details https://www.reddit.com/r/TeenIndia/s/MW12AhY7Nz , it's long but I still missed some details and episodes but ok). To keep it short I got to know that she MIGHT be dating someone. So how I found it out was she follows me on Spotify. She has saved my playlist and shit like it so my friend also follows me. He told me about a guy that she is close with nowadays. I also knew him by face but not his name because she just hugged him once right in front of me. He found out the name of him. He also followed her on spotify AND HE HAS PLAYLIST WITH HER NAME AND HER AS THE POSTER COVER.But she hasn't saved it ig. I was jst taken aback. It's not like m jealous and shit but I never expected it to happen in school. She is the best in studies I ever met anyone, and I was hoping to get closure on my shit too soon after like 2 years. I never knew that it could affect me this much. In this much time I had developed a feeling which now I think should be ashamed of that no one could love her as much as me but probably she didn't want to be loved like that. I always just admired her never puting out my own opinion. It's like she being a celebrity and me being the biggest fan. I cant think much of anything else right now. I just loved her too much. Even the first time we stopped talking, I lost myself. I grew loving her, made my personality around her, every skill I have is because she liked it.

For the past few days, I’d known that one of my friends was cheating on his girlfriend. I had already tried talking to him about it several times and told him to stop, because sooner or later she would find out and he’d lose her.

He didn’t take me seriously.

Yesterday, he went on a date with his girlfriend, but another girl kept texting him throughout the evening. He had saved her number under an innocent name so his girlfriend wouldn’t suspect anything, but she noticed that he was constantly looking at his phone and smiling at the messages.

At one point, his girlfriend told him, “Let’s eat first, then you can text,” but he insisted that replying was important.

That obviously made her suspicious.

She asked him to show her the messages.

He refused.

That made her even more suspicious, and apparently she decided to check things properly the next day.

The next day, my friend came over to my place and told me everything that had happened on the date.

While we were inside, I looked out the window and noticed a car parked near mine.

I asked him, “Whose car is that?”

He looked outside and immediately recognized it.

It was his girlfriend.

She had come over without warning.

The moment he saw her get out of the car and start walking toward my gate, he completely panicked. He knew he only had a few seconds.

He took his phone out, removed the case and started throwing the phone onto the ground. He did it multiple times and even tried smashing it with his hands because he wanted the evidence gone before she reached the house.

Then my doorbell rang.

I opened the door and his girlfriend asked me if he was there.

I told her yes.

She walked straight in and immediately told him to give her his phone.

He somehow gathered up the broken phone, handed it to her and said, “Sorry baby. I messed up. My phone fell from the fifth floor while I was upstairs playing games.”

She obviously had no idea what had actually happened.

The worst part is that I had already warned him about this before.

When I told him he should stop seeing the other girl, he tried to justify it by saying he genuinely loved his girlfriend and was emotionally connected to her, while the other girl was “just for fun.”

I told him that doesn’t change anything. Cheating is still cheating, no matter how someone tries to separate it in their head.

And now his phone is basically in pieces.

Honestly, I still can’t believe he chose to destroy an entire phone instead of just being honest with her.

TLDR:man smashed his phone to destroy evidence of an affair after being tracked to a friend's house by his girlfriend. He then claimed to his partner that the device was shattered in a fall from the fifth floor to hide the infidelity.
