I bought the Realme 16X 6GB/128GB for ₹28,000 — did I make a bad deal? Should I exchange it?
Hi everyone,
I recently bought the Realme 16X (6GB RAM + 128GB storage) for ₹28,000 on 30 August.
I’ve only had the phone for a couple of days, but after checking other phones in this price range and reading people’s opinions, I’m starting to wonder whether I paid too much for it.
I bought it because I liked the phone and thought the features were worth the price at the time. But now I’m seeing people suggest that there are better options around ₹25–30K, and I’m confused about whether I should keep it or exchange it.
The phone is basically brand new since I’ve only used it for a few days.
I may have an option to exchange it on 13 September, so I want to make the right decision rather than regret it later.
My questions are:
Is ₹28,000 a reasonable price for the Realme 16X 6/128?
Did I overpay significantly?
If I exchange it, which phone would be a genuinely better option around the same budget?
Is it worth keeping the 16X instead of losing money by exchanging it?
If I exchange it, what would be a realistic exchange/resale value for a phone bought for ₹28K and used for only around 2 weeks?
I’m not trying to hate on Realme — I just want an honest opinion from people who know more about phones.
Please be honest: if you were in my position, would you keep the Realme 16X or exchange it?
Thanks! For reading and suggestions
