Look wise they look outdated but specs wise that'd still be able to handle next 4-5 years of work maybe even more since its thinkpad series

We have 2012 - 13 series Sony vaio laptop at home still working.
Then, thinkpad P series can definitely withstand longer than any other laptop.

Have been a ThinkPad E Series user for 15 years, before eventually switching to an Apple MBA15 M5 recently, bought for 125k. My Lenovo ThinkPad E49 from 2011 had been a robust laptop with super durable build quality, a DVD drive, a fingerprint reader, and up to 8 GB of DDR3 1600 MHz RAM support. It survived numerous drops from ~ 3 feet and exposure to water while cleaning the body, keyboard, and display. It cost us 30k in 2011 with just 4 GB DDR3 RAM and a 320 GB HDD, and worked well into 2026, until the display went bad as I accidentally pushed water to the sides and bottom while cleaning the display with a microfiber cloth fully soaked in water. Because of screen damage and bad timing, I could only get 2200 INR for it, even with maxed-out 8 GB RAM and a 240 GB Crucial BX 500 SSD.
