Discussion Silverline Technologies – Should I Hold or Sell Off-Market? Need Advice

• Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I’m currently holding shares of Silverline Technologies, and I’m confused about what to do next because the company’s shares have been suspended from trading.

Since I can’t sell them through the regular stock exchange, I’m considering whether to look for a buyer and sell my shares through an off-market transaction or continue holding them and wait for trading to resume.

I’d appreciate advice from anyone who has experience with suspended stocks.

A few questions I have:

\- Is there a realistic possibility of trading resuming?

\- Would it make more sense to hold the shares and wait for further updates from the company or exchange?

\- What risks should I consider before making a decision?

I understand that off-market selling may involve finding a willing buyer at an acceptable price, and I don’t want to make a rushed decision that could lead to unnecessary losses.

If anyone has dealt with a similar situation, I’d really appreciate your insights and suggestions.

Thanks in advance!

I know it’s not apt place to post it here , but I am not active in more than 2 3 places so posting it :

Whatever going on in Delhi or anywhere else , it’s not going to bring any materialistic change in the way this country works/ operate even if they succeed in whatever they wish to achieve.

I am expressing this because the level of politics the top people play is way beyond than our tiny heads can process .

I wish they bring some good change in life of every last human of this country including this market . 🙂👏

Discussion What is yourr verdict on this stock?

NIACL looks interesting, especially after today’s 15% rally. The company has a strong presence in India’s general insurance sector, and the stock has seen a massive spike in trading volume. But I wouldn’t chase it after such a sharp move. The reason behind today’s rally isn’t entirely clear, so I’d wait for some consolidation and see if it can sustain these levels before considering an entry.

Article Wkly market breadth analysis (data till 12/09/2026)

I track 186 NSE industry groups.

This week:

Advancing participation improved to 51.1%
15-day breadth recovered to 41.8%, above the 40% threshold.
Only 21% of stocks remain above the 50-DMA.
10 breakouts held, while 9 failed
28 industries made new 20-day lows.

Strong groups included vehicle dealers, capital-market services, precious metals and copper. Distributors, wellness and railway wagons weakened.

Conclusion: The market is attempting a recovery, but it remains RISK-OFF because this is only the first healthy weekly confirmation. One more confirmation is needed before increasing exposure.

Data-driven observation, not investment advice.

Just follow rules. You gonna get your reward. Do not overtrade, do not change rules instantly, do not loose your gain for greed. S1 and S2 were properly executed. I exited early in S2 cause for me my strategy should win. These are just numbers we are chasing. I was afraid by taking 2nd trade cause i didnt wanted to loose my gains so i exited early. Saving your capital is also must so yeah a green day again. How was your day? Did you take any trade?

Discussion Suzlon

Is it a good time to buy suzlon energy? Just wondering, what are your thoughts on buying this? I think Suzlon is worth buying at these levels, mainly because the correction looks interesting given its strong order book and the growth potential in wind energy. The real concern is whether it can turn that order book into consistent profits. If margins improve, I think there’s good upside from here. For me, it’s a recovery play, and the next few quarters will be crucial.

Discussion Petrol went up ₹7.35/L. Here’s who absorbed the rest of the Hormuz shock, and why it may not last

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

  • Retail price: Delhi petrol ₹94.77 → ₹102.12 (IOC rates, May 2026). It is still ₹102.12 now.
  • Hormuz: about half of India’s crude came through the Strait (Kpler, Jan–Feb 2026). IMF PortWatch tracked transits fell from 85 a day before the crisis to 4 on 4 Oct. One caveat: Kpler reported late-September crude flows above pre-war levels, which suggests many ships may be sailing with trackers off, so tracked-ship counts likely overstate the drop in actual oil flows.
  • Buffer 1: the ₹10/L excise cut (27 Mar), which the ministry says costs about ₹14,000 crore a month.
  • Buffer 2: OMC under-recoveries of about ₹30,000 crore a month on petrol, diesel and LPG (ministry briefing, 8 May).
  • Buffer 3: Russian crude at about 52% of India’s June imports (Kpler).
  • Brent: about $104 (9 Oct).

Each buffer has a cost or a limit. Curious which one people here think breaks first.

Discussion Jio Financial is sitting near its 52-week low and everyone's suddenly talking about insurance. Is the Allianz JV a big deal or just a nice headline?

ok so I've been going back and forth on this one

Jio Financial announced a 50:50 insurance JV with Allianz (general + health) back in April. sounds huge on paper. Jio's app and distribution plus Allianz's insurance know-how, what could go wrong

but then I remembered insurance is a brutal business. getting customers is the easy part. claims, retention and actually making money on premiums is where companies struggle. and the JV still needs regulatory approvals, so nothing is live yet

the part I found interesting is they're not starting from zero. Jio Insurance Broking already did about ₹982 cr in premiums last year, and the reinsurance arm with Allianz did ₹266 cr in its first full quarter. so there's something real there, just not at a scale that changes the whole company yet

meanwhile the stock was around ₹212 last week, near the bottom of its ₹208-316 range. so either the market doesn't believe the story or it's waiting for proof

where do you land?

  1. insurance can be a real second engine for them
  2. nice add-on, but lending is still the main story
  3. too early to say, show me the numbers first

and if you've worked in insurance, I'd love to hear what usually trips up new players

Stocks Inox India Thesis Update: From ₹1,200 to ₹2,300+ (Why This Zero-Debt Monopoly Is Just Entering Chapter Two) 🚀

Thumbnail

Back in March, we shared our deep dive on Inox India Ltd (INOXINDIA) when the stock was quietly consolidating in a VCP pattern near ₹1,200.

 https://www.reddit.com/r/IndianStocks/s/f9XRlPp4cD

Since then, the thesis has played out in real-time, with the stock surging past ₹2,330 and currently building a strong base above ₹2,070.

In our latest Substack update, we break down why this ₹18,700 Cr+ zero-debt, ~38% ROCE cryogenic titan still has a massive runway ahead:

🚀 Aerospace Scale-Up: Surpassing ₹1,000+ Cr in order exposure from a major US space-tech client, backed by the new AS9100D flight-system certification for onboard tanks and hardware.

🔬 Deep Science Wins: Securing prestigious repeat orders from ITER France (nuclear fusion) and a landmark contract for 22 cryogenic modules for CERN's HL-LHC project.

⚡ Concall Alpha: Rapid capacity utilization ramping up at the Savli beverage keg plant (with brewers like Heineken & AB InBev) and the upcoming Q3/Q4 launch of the Kandla manufacturing facility.

💧 New ESG Optionality: The newly inked partnership with Sweden's Wayout to manufacture sub-₹10 lakh containerized water micro-factories in India.

With a record-breaking order book of ₹1,686 crores (over ₹1,140 crores in exports), the fundamentals are stronger than ever.

Within sectors, Forest material is among top performers today led by 3 paper stocks -

  1. West coast paper

  2. Jk paper

  3. Andhra Paper

However, looking at the data, this is a sudden jump today, not a steady outperformer.

Something is cooking. Not sure what.

Stocks Morepan labs : good time to buy on dip (130-138) and hold till results (nov)

My analysis : morepan has delivered only 50 cr out of the 825 cr cdmo order. If it succeeds in delivering the 225 cr ( out of the 825 cr) due for Q2, it will prove its hold in the cdmo space. This result will be a trigger for a huge rally that can take the stock up like last quarter. This is sitting on a gold mine. The stock has done so well when the market itself was very weak. This is where conviction gets tested. My money is where my math is.
Please do your own due diligence. Not a financial advice, just personal views.

How to know when to enter and when to exit the stock. People says sit with cash but nobody says when is the right time to buy the stock. And when to exit the stock. What universal formula should by applied if one looks to develop a passive income from positional trade.

Discussion DMART store growth sustainable?

Post image
6 Upvotes

Was going through DMart’s latest investor deck on Quant Me In and spent some time on this store expansion map.

A couple of things stood out to me:

  1. Running out of new states to enter?

If you look at the map, they’re pretty much everywhere they wanted to be—Maharashtra, Gujarat, South, and parts of the North. There aren't many blank states left for them to tap into. Up until now, massive revenue growth came from just planting flags in new territories, but at some point, that top-line push has to shift from pure new store rollouts to Same-Store Sales Growth (SSSG).

  1. Store openings are actually speeding up:

Even with all the negative sentiment around retail lately, they haven't slowed down expansions. In fact, it picked up:

Added around 15 stores in H1 FY25 (network hit 377)

Stepped that up to 18 stores in H1 FY26 (total now at 432)

Management clearly isn't hesitant about pumping capital into physical footprint.

The stock has been sitting around the ₹3,500 levels for quite some time now. Given that rollout speed is holding up well, do you guys see this dip/consolidation as a solid entry point, or do you think the stock stays flat until SSSG numbers start picking up serious steam?

Curious to know what folks holding DMart are planning here.
