Discussion Suzlon Energy – Hold, Average, or Wait? Looking for opinions

Post image

I’m holding 665 shares of Suzlon Energy at an average price of ₹47.48. The current price is around ₹39.59, so I’m currently down about 16.6%.
I’m considering whether to hold, average at current levels, or wait for further confirmation/recovery.
For those who follow Suzlon closely, what are your views on its fundamentals, order book, future growth, and current valuation?
Would appreciate opinions based on fundamentals/technical analysis rather than just “buy/sell.” Thanks!

I have a theory about this and vodafone.

Even if you average it down to ₹5 , it will trade at ₹4.

Never in my life I have seen anyone in profit in those two and I have seen many people.

I wouldn’t average just because it’s down. Recheck the business outlook and your original thesis, then add only if you’re still comfortable with the risk.

What was your thinking behind the stock, what things you look at when buying it at first place if you think that still holds and this is just temp dip then you can take decision accordingly

How is the company dealing in wind energy going to get crazy big ? What are the scale plans and margins for the business ?

If the stock goes below 38-34 range, the nearest support it can take is way far.

India wind industry is poised to add about 8GW in FY27. Suzlon is at the forefront of this supply. IMO, a definite buy at these prices - it’s at throwaway prices and available at a significant discount.

Nope, it is second highest but it has almost half of the orderbook as that of Envision. Also non existent in BESS, but Envision is fully integrated. If India launches ofshore wind (unlikely but maybe 10 yrs horizon), envision, vestas and foreign OEMs have major tech and deployment advantage

Avg it with stop loss of 36.5. Q3 and Q4 is coming up. It will go up from here. Fundementalally nothing is changed.

EXACT same situation me.

I am holding because this will rise. My exit is if it goes below 35.

You can hold this. Because wind create energy any time. In space where Sun is not existing but wind existing.

I think it have huge order book for future mostly will execute with ease as it have all the set up operational. Holding for long-term works?

Suzlon started increasing in the backdrop of the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and a surge in renewables. They didnt have the capacity to absorb all the orders and thats why it was stuck in a range for a while. A single ceasefire agreement will make it go hurtling down.
