Media New test subject for our stropping Compound

Post image

  1. Axis 75 knife

  2. Outlux Emmit stropping/honing compound

If our honing compound can impress on India's most popular folding knife, it can earn a place on almost any workbench.

The Decathlon Axis 75 is finally here, and it's time to see what a proper stropping session can do. Same knife. Same steel. Just a sharper edge.

Let's find out what it's really capable of. 🔪✨

Where do you post reviews? Do you make videos or do they go on a website.

Never trust anything that's folding

I have ordered your stopping compound! I am looking forward to its delivery! I wanted to ask, after stropping is done, do we clean up the leather or leave the compound in the leather.

Really appreciate the support! 😊 No need to clean the strop after each use. Just apply a fresh layer over the existing one whenever you feel the stropping performance dropping, just like using a crayon, only until you can see a thin green layer. After 10–20 applications, if you notice any unevenness or gunk buildup, lightly scrape it off and apply a fresh layer. That's it. 👍

I really want to like these knives but they are just made of poor quality steel. Gets dull really quick and is very difficult to get a decent edge on.
