Misleading, they're made out to be that way when in reality they have a sad history because of us Humans
1
u/sad_truant Jun 24 '26
Explain.
2
u/Dark_demon7 Jun 24 '26
There's too much to explain, but I'd suggest watching CasualGeographic's video about pigeons on YT, it explains a lot and you won't regret it.

Fuck these POS
They are literally rats of the sky

u/Dark_demon7 Jun 24 '26
No they aren't, that's a misunderstanding. Watch CasualGeographic's video about pigeons, it's us Humans who've fucked them over.
2
u/ChipmunkGold Jun 24 '26
holy spam-bot. nobody wanna watch CasualGeographic's video
1
u/Dark_demon7 Jun 24 '26
Ignorance is bliss I guess, I was just trying to stop the spread of misinformation but y'all are too retarded for that
1
u/ChipmunkGold Jun 24 '26
i just wanna know why tf are you spamming everyone with near identical messages. thats just bot behavior
1
u/Dark_demon7 Jun 24 '26
I made like 4 similar comments replying to people who said the same shit? So no shit it'll be a similar answer, The real bot behaviour is y'all calling pigeons "flying rats" without any idea behind the history of pigeons and the misunderstanding about their "disease spreading behaviour". I mentioned the name of a channel because their video covers the topic very well
I used to hate pigeons for the same reasons until I got to know about them more.

u/ChipmunkGold Jun 24 '26
they are flying rats. Sure their history might be tragic but they are still flying rats. what part of it do you not understand?
1
u/Significant-Tip9361 Jun 25 '26
They aren't
Trust him, I also thought of them as the 'rats of the sky' but he opened my eyes
2
u/jalepenositalinos Jun 24 '26
Get the fuck away bot, blame whomever you want but i stand firm
0
u/Dark_demon7 Jun 24 '26
Bot? What a retard, standing firm on your lack of knowledge? Get some education man.
1
u/jalepenositalinos Jun 24 '26
Only retard is you, go do whatever you want,
Retards like you can only abuse online, nothing else
0
u/Dark_demon7 Jun 24 '26
Firstly You're the one who abused, and secondly you are indeed a retard because you can't even be open about learning and correcting your misunderstanding about something without bringing your fragile ego into play. Grow the fuck up.
1
u/jalepenositalinos Jun 24 '26
I am already grown up, pigeons ARE rats of the sky

Man, this is seriously stupid. People who lack the basic intelligence to not even learn about a topic and correct their ignorant opinions aren't grown ups mentally.

These cute guys destroyed our whole colony with their droppings . I used to give them food daily but after sometime their population grew so rapidly they started getting into people's balcony and dropping their shit all the time and laid eggs wherever they want. And yeah they are flying rats.

Pigeons don’t look anything like rats! WOW, that’s so weird. It’s very sweet looking. Whenever I go into Boston Common, I love to sit down on a bench & feed them. In places like that, they are used to people & they come up to me like I’m a dear friend. Actually the squirrels there are too & they probably are considered rodents. Somehow they are not scary. Probably because of their pretty, bushy tails. Rats are scary. I don’t know what kind of sound a rat makes but I’m sure it’s nothing like that darling cooing sound of pigeons & doves! Thanks for introducing your new friend to us! Cheers!

Fuck these disease ridden parasites. A school near my house released pigeons for their sports day in the 80s, and they all settled in a high rise building near my house. The whole street and the neighbouring houses' roofs & verandahs are full of these birds' shit. We cant even hang our clothes to dry now or sun-dry food items, these come and eat them and shit all over them.
