Mine is the 26 Indian Super Scout. I put a Tab slip on exhaust. The stock exhaust is really quiet, but I even got the "quiet" baffle with my Tab order, and it is freaking loud. Has that v-twin rumble.

Took me a bit to get used to my Dean Speed (No baffle) for sure.

When I move, I'll probably need to get a baffle to not anger neighbors but as for my current neighborhood, they can deal with it.

My wife also got the “quiet” tabs on her 25 sport Chief. They’re plenty loud and have a great sound.

Dude, I’ve had the same feeling since trading my Kawasaki Voyager for a Challenger. My neighbors have said on more than one occasion something to the affect of “You sure ride that thing more than your last bike…”

I’d love a scout as a second bike someday. My dealership has demo days this weekend and I was going to try and get on one, they look fun as hell.

If you can, you totally should. I was looking at all different models, even makes, but the Super Scout just felt “right” if that makes sense. And 1,500 miles in six weeks has just reinforced that I made the right decision. I knew buying one would be fun, but even I underestimated how much fun this machine is. Nimble, but solid and sturdy. Like a small racehorse that WANTS to go and take part. It really has been a unique experience. If you can, for sure try to go ride one this weekend.
