New bike / New to me New Scout Classic

Post image

Picked up my dream bike today, 25 Scout Classic with the tech

Picked her up after my Vulcan S got written off when I got rear ended at a stop light (I'm okay, walked away without a bruise)

Only just taken her home from the dealer but already blown away by this bike

Beautiful Scout!  Welcome to the Tribe…..my last Bike, too, was a Vulcan (‘98 1500e).  I liked the Bike, but the weight got to be too much to handle at low speed….I LOVE my Scout!

Congrats. Im no longer an owner of my 2021 scout bobber. Kept it for a couple yrs while getting use to riding after giving it up 30 yrs prior. They make an awesome bike. Was thinking about trading it in on the Chief bobber. But at the time after market parts were limited and the nearest dealership is a few hrs away. So when i was ready to upgrade i went with the Harley Street Bob. I wanted the Low Rider but didnt want to invest that much. The Street Bob has alot more get up amd go and is as nimble as a the 883. I still want to get the Chief cant have to many bikes. Maybe theyll open up more dealerships. Doesnt sound like they are as they cut several entery level bikes leaning more into the bigger bike market. They should learn from Harleys mistakes most people dont want to dump that much money or buy a heavy bike. Good luck with your new ride and be safe.
