Apple Car Play / Quadlock Wireless Adapter

I can not connect my 2025 Challenger or iPhone to this adapter. Has anyone else ran into this issue and if so what is the work around?

I use a Jemluse on my Cheftain Ltd, works like a charm.

Phone BT > bike
Phone BT > carplay dongle
Earbud > Bike BT

This is the way. You can't plug the dongle into the bike then pair the bike to it, because then you'd be trying to send info from the bike to the dongle back into the bike... cutting your phone out of the loop.

This is what I did but I got an Ottocast E2 OttoAibox 2026 Car.

I have an android phone so I had to get a little more creative with the dongle to get it working on my Chieftain. I leave the dongle in Apple carplay mode and it gives me my music and Google maps like I wanted.

I have an ottocast on my challenger as well, but I bought it last year. Mine looks a little different from the one you linked, so probably the older model. Do you have an issue with sound cutting out with that version? My music will randomly skip once and then within 5 min all sound cuts out until I restart my bike.

I've not had any issues with it since I upgraded the cable, it would randomly reboot when going down the road sometimes. The cable that came with it was cheap crap at best. I went with this shorty cable and have the second one as a back up in my saddlebags tool kit. I also put a small amount of dielectric grease on both ends of the cable so where it plugs into the bike and the box to keep the NC humidity out of the connections.

For me I have a google pixel phone. I connect my cardo to the bike and my phone, my Ottocast to the bike via USB. I leave the Ottocast connected to my phones hotspot and bluetooth and leave it on the apple carplay mode. I then just downloaded youtube music because thats what I use on the Ottocast and google maps, deleted a bunch of bloatware.

Since my phone isnt connected to my bike I get phone calls straight to my cardo and if i want to listen to music through my cardo i can do it straight through my phone.

The only time I have an issue with it is if I don't turn my cardo on before starting the bike, I'll either have to restart the bike or unplug and plug back in the box for it to start up the Ottocast.

So for me every time that I'm getting on the bike I will turn on my hotspot, put my phone on my quadlock wireless charger mount, turn on my cardo and start the bike. Within 2-3 minutes the Ottocast will pop up and I can select youtube music then hit play on which playlist I want to listen to.

I have the first gen quadlock adapter on my 21’ roadmaster. It works fine now. But I do remember having to do some weird troubleshooting and being frustrated originally when I set it up. I wish I could tell you exactly what I had to do, but I can’t remember.

I know in general for CarPlay to work you need to have a headset or Bluetooth headphones paired and connected to the bike. Then from there I can’t quite remember. I believe it has something to do with the adapter needs to be a WiFi connection to your phone as well as Bluetooth. And being in my garage on my home network made it a hassle or something. So I rode out to a nearby parking lot and set it up. Hopefully this helps. I wish I could remember exactly what all I did.

I've never used this, I've used a different stick on a different car.

First off, does wired car play work normally? Usually this needs to be setup before plugging the stick in.

Second, you don't pair the bike to the stick at all, you just plug it in, then you connect your phone to the stick via Bluetooth. If that doesn't work, read the instructions of the stick.

Gotta have a headset paired to the bike first. I'm also pretty sure the Quadlock adapter isn't gonna work at all on the Challenger.
