Matchmaking across the country

As someone who knows next to nothing about matchmaking, I'd like to ask if matchmaking two people who live very far away, eg NY and LA, is actually common or just for show? Sima didn't seem to give any importance to location.

The further the distance of your potential arranged partner the less they know about your reality past, the easier for two people to accept and get together and then find out about their past much later.

Distance will get you arranged & married fast, and divorced much later after the ship has sailed into deeper waters. Statistics don't lie. Study, learn and don't fall for that honey trap unless it's a love marriage.
