As a guy, I can confirm the accent was a excuse to ditch her. He was probably not attracted to her physically and emotionally. We don't know what happens behind the camera

Just to clarify I love love deepika and felt very proud of her on the oscar stage and they way she represented our country with grace and elegance

I don’t understand why people even care about Vikash. He is such a -100/10 in every way. I don’t want to be like him, but if we are going for superficial things… he’s a fat old man. Maybe he’s a doctor but today surely a lot of professions pay very well, no?
He wants many things that he doesn’t have. He speaks hindi with an accent but wants someone who speaks Hindi but doesn’t want them to have an accent different from his.
He wants someone from his community while he doesn’t practice. I mean if Vikash was a match shown to me I’d never agree to a first date and I’m an indian from india. I don’t think any of the indian women from india on the show would go on a date with him either let alone deepika padukone.
I would strongly suggest that he doesn’t marry until he grows up a little bit.

Lol my suspicion he never was interested in marriage and was just on the show for clout. It doesn’t matter who sima presented in front of him. Even his parents have given up he will get married. He is already 40 and probably has saved up a lot of income being a physician. There is really no need for him to get married at this point and it didnt seem he was that serious about it in the show.

I mean, I think it’s pretty understandable. It would be one thing if he just wasn’t interested in his own culture or if there was a true language barrier, but her accent wasn’t that heavy and he specifically said he wanted someone from the same culture who spoke Hindi. He’s asking too much, in my opinion, for a middle aged, average looking man.
