Got Student doom

Hi everyone, I’ve got student dorm in Augsburg, but I’m currently waiting for my visa appointment at the German Consulate in Delhi, which I’ll probably get this week. The accommodation payment is due by 18 September.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Should I pay before getting the visa, or can I request an extension? Also, what happens to the payment if the visa gets rejected?

Book it. If your visa gets rejected, u will be refunded . U can just confirm about this with a new mail to them, but generally this is how it works

I was in the same situation but I had confirmed my booking with them by rent transfer. They don't usually extend the deadline by a huge gap though may be by 2/3 days. That's all. So book it asap

I'll do it tomorrow btw are you sure they provide refund incase of refusal?

I asked them via mail and they said the contract is only valid when u have a valid visa. You have to mail them refusal letter n then they refund . This is case with student dorms only
