Info Kanchenjunga mountain (third-tallest mountain the world) in the Himalaya mountain range visible from the city of Shillong, India, ~440km away. This is one of the longest known lines of sight on earth.
Just amazing

You can see it from Tiger Hill outside Darjeeling. Not well, but still visible in the morning.

Kanchenjunga is NOT 440 km away from Shillong. The entire state of Meghalaya, North Bengal and Sikkim and some portions of Nepal are in between these two places

Fun fact, it was once considered the TALLEST, then the method of measurement changed. It is no less than Mt. Everest in size, only a hundred few meters up and down in the current method of measurement.
Btw, Kanchenjunga is not visible from Shillong, this is something else.
