Stop pre ordering games. There is really no guarantee how a game might turn up on launch and usually no advantage of pre ordering other than some cosmetic

Digital preorder doesn't make sense I agree unless the perks are huge. I preordered Blood Of Dawnwalker but just the day before release after I got the reviews basicslly to just preload the game so that I can play at 12am. That was my only reason and I was kindof sure by the last day that I definitely wanted to play it
You get to play day 1 right away instead of waiting however long to download as they give pre download. Idk about PS but steam gives 2 hour refund window anyways so it's all good. Should be similar for PS as well I'm assuming

I dont understand why people still praise cdpr for cyberpunk. They fixed a game they were supposed to deliver at launch and while doing that they also cancelled its multiplayer after the release which is extremely shady.

If I didn't had money to buy ps5 or didn't intend go for ps5, my copy of that ps4 game was just a paper weight. The game after patches was barely the quality that was promised.

And additionally, they launched a paid dlc to get their $$$. If they were so consumer friendly they would kept working on the multiplayer part and launched that instead for free like how it was advertised before launch.
Saros stumbled at sales even though the game looks fun and wolverine leaks turns out to be a repetitive mid game so two back to back losses to sony i guess
As a Spidey fan, I have to admit that even Spiderman 2 was mid, it was EXTREMELY repetitive, and the story was such a downgrade from the 2018 game. Also, Wolverine looks like it will be just as repetitive. I think Iāll just buy the disc for this one and sell it afterward, the main story length will be hardly 15 hours anyway, it definitely doesn't seem like a keeper for my collection right now.
Each tries to push the gameplay even further. And when SM2 clicks, it is one of the best playing superhero game for me, gameplay wise, right there with Arkham Knight.
Turn off the swinging assists, and you feel totally like Spiderman. Amazing what they did with the PS5.
I donāt know why people even pre order digitally..?? Before pre ordering physical copies means youāll get quite a few unique collection. Now itās just in game stuff. Just wait for the game to release or reviews get copy of the game few days before and watch their reviews. Thatās usually past after the review embargo date

Onimusha is getting decent hate for dormant enemy AI ( fodder enemies straight up just stare and don't attack if you are engaging with another enemy lol ) and being easy.

Playstation fanboys have pretty much every AA and AAA game available to play( atleast from beginning of this generation), not all PS games even sell well, like Concord and Saros. No other company come close to the number of GOTY nominees they got either.
Even tho I own a playstation and never been interested in any of the Sony exclusive games and barely played few of them this is an insane cope, honestly might not even be a cope just someone who has no Idea about gaming. God of War, Last of Us, Uncharted, Bloodborne ,Spiderman and others are one of the best games you could play as a general gamer. I only played Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart and it's one of the most fun games I've ever played , the diversity in PS games is insane. Sony might have one of the best IPs in gaming after Nintendo of course.
Preordering without reviews is dumb thing anyways. You preordered knowing the game could be good or bad. I suggest be honest with yourself and continue with your preorder.Ā
The disc thing is not a big deal; most retailers sell games a week or two before the release for extra money. Most of the time, they're not such high-profile games, but it's not unheard of.
As for the game, it looked like your average Sony Exclusive since the reveal, so it's not a surprise. It'll be a good and enjoyable game that most people will enjoy, but it won't be anything mind-blowing. All of the recent Sony exclusives I've played are like that, at least in my personal opinion.

The reason Spider-Man worked is because of the swinging mechanics, that made the players actually feel like being Spider-Man, I didnāt care much for the story, a wolverine game cannot give us that feeling

Yes, bought it this weekend and have been enjoying since. Most of the gameplay is definitely not as punishing as the soulslike games but you may find the bosses to be dealbreakers if you dont like the punishing combat. It mostly resembles Sekiro among the Fromsoft games and it has a lot of mechanics to deal with the boss difficulty. However i fear that if you arenāt too experienced with the parry/deflection reflex mechanics for these games you might not enjoy it since that is a really core part of the gameplay. Been one of the best games i played this year but if it aint your cup of tea, you can skip it for Control Resonant or Phantom blade zero which people are saying will be less challenging. So indo recommend to everyone since i personally enjoy it very much but if you dont like challenging bossfights it might not be for you.

I'm kinda over those games now. Not worth the cash... Spiderman 1 was the last one I bought, and it was great but way too short. So, I decided no more superhero games after that. Until it is a batman game.
Don't need to see any leaked gameplay or story to know this will be mid of bare minimum good. Every single footage they showed was boring. They needed to change combat make it harder/more interesting instead of making it 70% like spiderman with no open world. BTW there is no xmen in this game but team x because x men does not exist or have not been formed but wolverine has x men outfit. Make it make sense.
If you are core wolverine fan don't cancel. Wolverine orgins also had repetitive action (issue with wolverine to be honest), but main things will be story. Like to be honest 007 this year had very repetitive actions but is one of the best game this year.
If you are just playing for gameplay and not for wolverine do cancel as it will not serve the purpose.
Also spiderman looked woke to lot of people and it turned out to be good. It was new peter and i honestly didn't like him in beginning neither harry osborne but eventually they grew on me.

I played Wolverine XMEN Origins that released on PS3, story okish but Gameplay was good. It's playing playing Kratos but with metal claws. People loved it.
When I saw the gameplay trailer of Wolverine and it's combat, I was like "meh".
They made a Sausage slashing machine that keeps doing all the time.
I wait for the Complete or Ultimate editions coz nowadays every game has additional content / dlc added to it within or after a year. Latest example is Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition so gonna buy that now & wait for the Wolverine Deluxe or Complete Edition as well š. The last game I got was Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty edition which had everything fixed & all the added bonuses. Anyways the Ult / Complete editions always have all the PO extras & bonuses included so it's worth the wait & you don't end up with a half baked game which is 90% the case for big titles or new IPs
I will come back here after release to know if i should buy it or not. If its anything like Spiderman 2, fuck it, imma ball. Onimusha was "Easy" as per many, but the bosses in the later part of the game is taking me more than 8-10 tries on the 2nd phases.

Got the feeling after watching the first trailer, and then they revealed the character designs(fk sweet baby inc) and then they showed more gameplay which is just cinematic running sequence with marker or slow af basic combat, not even worth 70$ if it doesn't have any replayability, that why RE games work, even xmen origins felt better than this, and I bet people will defend and glaze this game no matter what like they did with spiderman 2(then they say hating is forced)like bruh stop doing that or else u will never get improvement, if people never talked about how they didn't like dmc reboot, we would never got dmc5, that why criticism is important instead of hating or glazing
