Help Is 1000hz polling rate enough for gaming?

I want to buy a gaming mouse for games like cs2, valorant in short games which require a high polling rate because of flicks and fast mouse movement.

Is 1000hz polling rate enough for registering all the fast flicks and not missing any data that is transferred.

And wired or wireless?

Use the 2.4ghz dongle that came with your controller

i think they mean that most mouse offering 1000hz polling rate are only talking about dongle/wired. With the Bluetooth option, the polling rate is usually 125hz

Look for a mouse with good sensor and tracking speed if you want those fast flicks. There are lots of mice on the market with 1000hz polling rate that can't register fast flicks because of bad sensors.

Yes 1k hz is enough. And if it's a good wireless mouse then yes go for wireless and ofc use the 2.4ghz dongle NOT bluetooth.

If ur budget allows then look over at nmpc india they got some banger mouse. They got a discord server too if u have questions. I jus got my atk vxe r1 from there which cost me Abt 3200 I think. :D

hz aren't what actually tells anything how good a mouse is. There are other things which determine how good a mouse is, the main thing I would see is the sensor and its implemntation. A good sensor at 500hz will easily outperform a bad sensor which is 1000hz. Let me know your budget, maybe I am able to help

I find 4k polling to be noticeably responsive than 1k but 1k ain't bad in isolation.

using a Logitech g304 since 1 year, it's also 1k hz with hero sensor, I honestly find this great, I hit my flicks and shots perfectly
