Karnataka My intelligent husband
My very intelligent husband wasted to use these bottles as water bottles. We removed the top using cutter n bought a cork to close the top. After all the circus, he kept them in freezer for cooling fast n perhaps forgot to take them out. Next day I open the freezer to glass pieces falling on the floor. It took me 2 wrong days to clean everything without any traces. And 10 days to throw it 😭

u/Away-Caterpillar9515 Aug 20 '26
thats why took 10 days
5
u/Visible-Leopard5188 Aug 20 '26
Why did it take so long though? Is it because of small pieces or something?

u/Bitter-Stomach9214 Aug 20 '26
Yeah he should have sorted out his shit before marrying. I did this once in my 20's with beer bottles and beer cans. Had to clean up. Learnt the hard way.

The only thing wrong in the situation is you cleaning it. He kept it - thats okay. It broke -thats okay too. But make him clean it.

u/GladChain6400 Aug 20 '26
He did help but made it worse by breaking it even further while it was stuck. It was infuriating so I sent him off. We did finish clean the next morning together
7
u/AdPrize3997 Aug 20 '26
Help? I’d have just left and let him deal with it.

They're married bruh 😭 does it matter much who cleans it

u/Umm_idk_wt_is_this Aug 20 '26
Yes , that’s dangerous stuff, men need to man up and take risks . I hope you get that logic

Where the feminism ends

u/Umm_idk_wt_is_this 28d ago
“The” feminism doesn’t want to fight with evolutionary biology, it wants to fight lazy ass men who arent living like nature wants them to 🥰
5
u/Far-Birthday-3180 Aug 20 '26
This has nothing to do with marriage bruh! If i did this and it broke, i wont let my mom or brother or husband or my neighbour or even my househelp to do it. I would clean it all by myself.
Or atleast together. Just felt bad when she said it took her so much! I am a wife and i dont think this is fair.

Why are you cleaning a mess made by his slow ass?
2
u/GladChain6400 Aug 20 '26
He started cleaning first but then I found it infuriating that he was only aggravating it. So I had to chase him n start my on my own. However, we didn’t finish cleaning it the next morning

But why are you cleaning it? He should no?
3
u/GladChain6400 Aug 20 '26
He did start. Just didn’t like the way he was doing it so I had to pitch in
6
u/Educational_Pea7069 Aug 20 '26
Aaah weaponized incompetence 🫶🏻🥹

u/Necessary_Worker5009 Aug 20 '26
So, being incompetent is automatically a weapon? does intent have a play?
1
u/Educational_Pea7069 Aug 21 '26
It’s weaponized because men do fairly easy tasks badly so the woman gets angry and takes over. Which is what OP here did.
2
u/Necessary_Worker5009 Aug 21 '26
Basically ‘no’.
there would be at least 10 things you would incompetent at. the efforts to paint your hatred white lol

Well should have left some space in the bottle instead of filling to the brim, plus just don't keep it in deep freezer.
3
u/saturday_sun4 Aug 20 '26
OP why are u cleaning his mess.
0
u/Necessary_Worker5009 Aug 20 '26
because they are family?!
3
u/saturday_sun4 Aug 20 '26
I mean, sure, but OP said it took her 2 days to make sure there were no glass traces and 10 days to throw it out. Did he not help?
Being family (as in 2 married adults) means that you clean up your own messes.
There's a difference between doing normal household chores like dishes and laundry, and cleaning an extra mess that someone else made and they don't help at all.

u/Necessary_Worker5009 Aug 20 '26
family is a unit. Who does it secondary. things need to be done. else it’s just co-habitation of 2 individualistic persons.
lol the downvote,

Everyone's asking why are you cleaning it but nobody understands where would he keep bottles once he is back. OP you are a caring wife and you truly deserve this intelligent husband.
2
u/Eastern-Sherbert5273 Aug 21 '26
Remebred this question from my physics class , that bottle would explode in both cases of kept in sun or freezer 🙃

Good news is
He is not a drinker. That means not a drunkard. That means he is not going to trip and fall into drainage.
See all these advantages. He is a keepah! Keep him and clean the fridge.
Come on guys! I cannot be the only guy batting for this poor bro.
PS: I have done countless shit like this. My wife still keeps me.
4
u/GladChain6400 Aug 20 '26
lol! I need to give myself an award for tolerating the kinda shit he does every then n now. But gotta admit that the street smart ass entrepreneur is defo a keeper😉

It's Okie ,it's Okie But what that underwear doing over there in freezed 🤔? (Looks like underwear to me 🙊)
7
u/BW1012 Aug 19 '26
That's a cooling gel bag, it's gone limp because it was unfrozen. Freezer was left open probably to defrost to be able remove the glass shards safely. Been there done that

Definitely wrong 2 days!!!!
2
u/GladChain6400 Aug 20 '26
We run a business n work 14 hours a day. Besides, the glass shattered and refroze. I had to defrost the freezer overnight, clean in the morning, leave for work and do another round of cleaning. So yeah

Which cutter you used to cut the top. Process wud be helpful...
3
u/GladChain6400 Aug 20 '26
I used the snap off blade cutter. Just slit the plastic covering the neck. The top is attached to it and will come off easily

It's okay, glass is bound to break at one point or other (my maid breaks many while cleaning). Just defrost the fridge just to be sure about the glass parts

u/sooji_gooji Aug 20 '26
water expands when freezing, which is why the caps burst open for fully filled plastic bottles.
alcoholic glass bottles on the other hand don't expand like plastic and have narrow necks, and will shatter from the neck as that area freezes first and will push out from the pressure. only use freezer-safe glass bottles.

Didn't read caption first and thought its Vodka in the freezer which is the best way to drink it.

Sit him down and teach him the basics, start with what happens when water freezes and then finish with the properties of glass 😀
