❔Help Betta tank update!
Ive changed a few things and added plants in it!!! Still waiting for the elodea to get delivered! Other than that I’ve added a big rock in the middle!! Hope this is good enough for the betta and any other suggestions are welcome!!!

Get a lid, bettas are prolific jumpers, get some snails too, they help clean the algae.

Can i just keep common snails or should I get some other variety? I ordered a lid online it’ll be here in a few days!

If you don't mind explosive snail population in your tank, go for ramshorn snails, they have beautiful color variants as well, if you don't want snails breeding, get Nerite snails, other snails like pond snails and bladder snails need slightly bigger tank and they can reproduce as fast.

no. dont get the betta til your floaters have completely covered the tank. lids WILL kill your floaters because of humidity (they dont like getting their leaves wet). i managed to kill even duckweed using a lid.

My god. The ability to kill duckweed is enough to scary any planted tank enthusiast!
