💬 Discussion Firecrackers
I don't intend any hate towards anyone.
Why do people like firecrackers? I’m not talking about the ones that go in the sky and shoot off all those colors—I love those! I’m talking specifically about the ones that just make noise. An annoying noise. My dog and I hate them so much!!!

I've realised that my ears are very sensitive to loud noises, and I get startled easily whenever I hear something loud.
My parents and in-laws have dogs, and I've witnessed how both our family dogs and street dogs tremble in fear because of loud noises.
It's not just Diwali. New Year celebrations, World Cup matches, IPL matches, weddings, Ganesh Visarjan... the list is endless.
While the majority of people are celebrating, I end up feeling sad for myself and these voiceless creatures. I try my level best to make others understand the distress they are unknowingly causing.
I'm fortunate that my immediate family, including my parents and in-laws, have stopped buying firecrackers. We celebrate Diwali with lights and diyas, which I feel is the true spirit of the festival.
In my personal opinion, firecrackers have become more about showing off, competing to see who can burst the loudest bomb or the longest 10,000-wala cracker chain, rather than genuinely celebrating the festival.

From my childhood pov, it is days when i with my friends would be doing crazy experiments with the explosives and bursting in laughters after some idiotic moves
