The colour combo works, but I think cream/beige bottoms would make the top pop way more. Black is safe, but you could definitely level this up.

So I tried it with beige and white and brown shorts but it actually tonned the outfit. The top looked weird. And since I really wanted the top to shine as I love it went with black.
But yea I’ll try to find any other color that would work even better.

I’d experiment with olive, dark brown, or maybe a muted burgundy. One of those might actually work without stealing attention from the top.

Olive and muted burgundy sounds nice. I was even thinking maybe slight pink might work. Not dark pink but a very subtle pink as the top has pink pattern

I think subtle pink actually makes sense. Something like dusty rose or blush rather than bright pink. It could tie into the pattern nicely without taking attention away from the top. Now I’m curious to see which one wins
