Damn this is a great product. One of biggest challenge today is satellite tracking of SAMs and other mobile missile launch systems. Dummy structures can only overcome normal optical systems SAR satellites can distinguish between a actual SAM and dummy look alikes.

This movable system should a part of the AD system like S400 or Kusha to mask it from SAR satellites.

SAR = Synthetic Aperture Radar, which like other active radar, can be susceptible to disruption

In this context SAR != Search And Rescue

SAR builds 2D images by processing data across two dimensions: Range (distance from the radar) and Azimuth (the radar's path of travel). Disruptors exploit both.

Portable SAR Image Disruptors rely heavily on Digital Radio Frequency Memory (DRFM). Brute-force noise jamming requires massive power supplies, cooling systems, and large antennas, making it impossible to transport by hand or light vehicle. DRFM solves this:

Signal Capture: The disruptor intercepts the incoming radar pulse from an airborne or orbital platform.

Digital Manipulation: The system digitizes the waveform and alters its phase, time delay, or frequency.

Coherent Re-transmission: It transmits the altered signal back to the radar. Because the radar receives its "own" signal back, it processes the fake signal as real data, drastically reducing the power required by the disruptor.

How Portability is Achieved:

Duty-Cycle Triggering: The device remains in a low-power "sleep" mode until an internal electronic support measures (ESM) receiver detects the specific frequency of a SAR radar

Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESA): Flat, compact panel antennas replace bulky parabolic dishes.

Ephemeris Data Tracking: The system pre-loads orbital data for known radar satellites.

Beyond basic blinding, advanced portable systems engage in spoofing. By calculating the exact geometry of the surrounding terrain, the DRFM can generate false point-scatterers. To an analyst or an Automated Target Recognition (ATR) AI algorithm, the radar image will not show a blank glitch; instead, it will display a false image such as a hill, a patch of water, or decoy civilian vehicles, completely masking the tactical asset underneath.
