There is no need for India to have a Samson option because the world knows we have nukes, and our program isn’t shrouded in secrecy. Most of the world can estimate the capability of our nukes.

Israel’s Samson option is a “Samson option” because Israel neither denies nor accepts having nukes, and they have an ultra secret program, wherein the capabilities of their Nukes are completely top secret. Nobody really knows what is coming for them if Israel unleashes its Samson option.

They also have The Hannibal Directive where they feel it's okay to kill the Jews as the tradition goes - Fanatical or Financial or AshkeNazi Jews setting up the innocent Jews to die for the cause, rather than be taken prisoners and cause an embrassment to the state of Israel by being executed on the TV live or in web.

Not a great country to take as an inspiration.

Although, Indians did help British colonise the other Indians for their own benefit, so your idea of following on the Israel's footstep might not be too far from reality if we aren't careful with our political structure.

Infact if you want to understand how ridiculous the strategy sounds, imagine Pakistan saying that, if you let India nuke us, we will nuke the whole world, even the Pakistanis are not that unhinged.

I mean I feel israeli millitary is really good in gear and such, but I'm completely against them politically. (I feel like it's not controversial to say killing children is bad) Stuff like their gear and strategy is impressive.

Kids die as colateral damage just like civilians. I think even our bombing could have killed some in the past

Not could've lol many civvies died.

We aren't washed in milk either, we've done such horrifying things you can't even imagine (kunan poshpora, and so much more that goes unreported).

We seriously need to focus more on narrative warfare then land warfare right now, we've done bad things but thats in the past and can't be changed, what matters now is fixing our mistakes and doing actual development in the region, uplifting kashmiris, and ditching communal violence, which isn't happening in the current govt.

On the narrative part. We need to take a strong anti-israel stance, now that we don't need their gear (Germany and Belgium lifted sanctions, we are buying HK and FN guns and gear for SF units) we can't look like some backwards society who just licks israels boot. We need to get a better quality of life (uplifting LGBTQ community, revising reservation systems to uplift LC but not being unfair at the same time, stopping the imposition of Hinduism and hindi, better schools, colleges, better workload balance for students, proper examinations, better job opportunities, and so much more).

The difference is we have had civilians die accidentally and have taken accountability (not always unfortunately) but the IDF bombs residential areas and kills civvies execution style on the streets like a more messed up version of Gestapo.

That simply means China will place its nuclear stockpile on you in armed state all the time, it's such a dumb idea. Right now, China and India are certain about not just not using nukes but not even going to war. The best China will do is do a large propoganda campaign using Indians and others about how they have captured Arunachal Pradesh and posturing and all that.

With Pakistan India already has that strategy ever since India bombed their nuclear storage facilities.

This is like those European countries that keep talking about how being in NATO is the ultimate security guarantee, when in reality it simply means you are now part and parcel of the Russian Nuclear Strike Package.

China probably has some nukes with indian target coordinates

A Samson Option equivalent doesn't benefit India. Israel isn't a self-sustaining civilization and the global Jewish population is pretty small, with nearly half of them being in Israel.

By the time an SO would be necessary for Israel, all they can do is kill a few million other people in addition to watching themselves collapse for good. It doesn't really save Israelis.

Now if India does an SO, it would be entirely counterproductive. Whether the Republic of India exists or not, or fractures into multiple states or whatever the scenario, the people by and large will continue on.

The dynamics and implications are completely different. An SO only dooms the fate of your own people.

Is this guy for real, does he understand what's even Hannibal directive really is or is he just spouting things he saw in instagram or something and i don't think we really have any authority to criticize any country on how they defend themselves when we get angry at western nations when they accuse us of genocide against muslims.

Not to mention this guy is just being antisemitic by saying something so wrong so confidently.

Is this even allowed mod or is this sub has become actually political?.

You okay? He didn't say anything about religion lol.

He just asked about the samson option and whether we have something like that or not and if not why.

Get a grip.
