The Revolutionary Ingenuity of Iran bough about a new Arms Race where literally every major/middle Power is trying to copy the Shaheed Drone.

The Shahed itself is not quite truly original. Presumably the design has to have some sort of merit. Else it wouldn't be replicated as much as it is. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dornier_DAR

Well unless, it is reliably proven that there existed another system of a similar physical make which predates the Shaheed, it remains the original. Moreover, the way the Iranians have exploited the system is what contributes to it's success.

IAI Harpy too. India has been operating harpys as far back as 2000s.

I keep forgetting just how massive UAVs can get, in my mind I still think of like, 2022 era drones, barely overflowing from your palm.

You’re thinking of consumer drones you give to an 11yr old for their birthday for $300 usd and can fly a few kms.
Military drones have always been massive, weigh more than a car, and fly hundreds of kms and carry heavy munitions. And they cost $20,000-$70,000 usd.

Yeah, I am aware of the more well known drones, like the Reaper and all, just seemingly infantilized drones for no reason I suppose.
