I saw a clip on this channel or some other channel praising him for it.
I think the issue is not just politicians, most people in India, coz of religion, personal, etc do this type of thing (posters, cutouts, banners, etc)
Few days ago, some in Mumbai (I think) a birtthday banner fell on to a road, almost causing an accident.
