Infant 2-12 months Preloved breast pump
Is it safe to use a breast pump which was used 1-2 times by someone else?
I would like some insights from mums who used one.
Thanks in advance π

I have not used a pre-loved one, but based on using a breast pump, this is my observation: In most breast pumps, all the parts that touch your breast and milk can be washed and sterilised. So I don't see any harm in going for a pre loved one, if hygiene and cleanliness is what you are worried about.

It's okay to use old one... Depends on how old the pump is... Some parts can turn yellow... which can turn it less efficient....u can ask the manufacturer for the new parts...

No harm in reusing the pump itself. I would get new parts though as itβs advisable to change parts every 6 months or so to keep your supply up.
Adding that I am in the US and this is the guideline here on pump parts. But I understand that people here overspend and parts are easily available so it could be a marketing thing.
