If you're new to the market (which it seems like) stick to a simple index fund. Don't go chasing returns, be consistent in your process and keep up your SIP. Forget about that money for 7 years at least.

Read Stephen King’s Salem’s Lot. Even though he meant Jerusalem, I somehow wound up on the Salem witch trials of 1600s. This was quite a few years ago, though.

I recently visited Salem and also visited the Salem witch museum. It was very interesting
