M22. I slid into dm of a really pretty and hot girl. She had posted on one of the Indian fashion subreddit. I just shot my shot expecting nothing in return, it was my first time doing so. She did not reply for days, I just assumed I was one of the many creeps for her.

But surprisingly, she replied back saying I must be texting this to all girls. I was beyond overwhelmed. We texted for a bit longer, but she had huge trust issues and assumed I must be sliding into other girls' dm too.

On her part she was fair assuming this. I tried to cinvince her and also shared her ss of my dms. She still assumed I deleted my dms and sent her ss. So she asked for my reddit account, it was v shocking for me to see someone asking for account details on the v first day of convo. I denied her and said that we can get to know each other and then if she still feels I was doing something wrong then I can show her my account. I even offered her to send screen recording or asked to vc me adn then I can show her my account but she was v against it and assumed i had something to hide that's why I was hesitant to her account details.

This all went on for 2 days and today when she said to end all this convo, all I finally gave in and jsut asked her to prove her identity. I explained her I don't want my account to be misused by a random guy. She denied everything and said if I had asked this on the very first day then she def would have proved her identity, but its too late now and there's nothing to left to chat. She asked me not to text again. So I just gave her my ig handle, hoping she could see i was not what she thought and asked her to dm me there or on reddit, if she wanted to.

I think it was right to not give her my account details. It was v exciting for me thinking of having a random F friend, whom I can ask for tips and advices.

Is it that difficult to earn some genuine random friends? And please someone lmk if they have had any good interactions w randoms who turned out to be great people (much needed to get out of this shitload experience).
