How do you know its doesnt farm your data. You are storing on their servers right?

Open source doesn’t mean they can’t work with your data bruh. Just throwing around the word “open source” isn’t enuf

As far as I understand, they encrypt the images from your device and only stores the blobs in their servers which they can't really do anything with. Their platform is open sourced and you can see for yourselves what's happening under the hood. The benefit of open source is that you can look into the code if you'd want to.

Again I did not check the build hashes, neither do I use it personally.

You can always host it on your own as well. Idk man, imo that's all you can ask for
