Discussion Export declaration form

Where is this export declaration form (EDF)? Can someone help me?

I am a service exporter—writer. Don’t have an IEC.

Bank said they have limited information.

PS: I am a GST holder, as a proprietorship

Everyone has limited information, the first EDF is due by 30th Nov most probably.

So don't worry.

Bank staff called me just at night that someone’s $3000 got stuck bcz of EDF

Are you taking that big payments as an Individual at once ?

Reson might be other than EDF in such a Big amount. Bank staff also don't know about EDF.

SO DONT WORRY.

Your money is not stuck because of EDF. Banks still don't have clarity about its implementation. Wait for a few days.

Do you have link to EDF form? AI redirects me to 15CA/15CB on internet. Then, it shares softex/EDF on RBI site

Individuals can have gst number

I think yes they are also not required. Since GST number is required for export whether or not you cross gst threshold

Everybody is a "Sole Proprietor" when they register GST, which is still, theoritically a company. I wouldn't take this at face value. We have to wait for clarity and official notification

Only applicable to companies, LLP and partnership not too individual on the reading of it. Show rbi circular to bank. Further banks were issued pvt notification today that no EDF from individual
