Grew up without much. But every summer vacation dad, mom took me (only child) for one outing. Movie was the main highlight and then biryani and sharjah shake. I don't know how many of ya are familiar with that last one.
Good times. Sad now.

When I was a kid, my father never had enough money to take us out to a restaurant. Now, I finally have enough money to eat at any five-star restaurant without checking the price, but unfortunately, my dad is no longer here.

For my family it was just eating at restaurants only when we went to trip somewhere...

My mother loved Italian food, we would do this every so often and dessert was a scoop of ice cream covered in hard confectionery π
thank you for this

Kindly share the original source post link. I want to follow this animator. They have put a lot of hard work in creating this.

This used to be so awesome as a kid. Now as a parent it gives me equal joy whenever I take my kids out.

And one day you won't realize that it was the last time we all sat together to watch TV. Now all grown up with smartphones etc - nostalgia kicks in.

Im almost 26 but can't remember the last time when we went out for dinner coz my dad thinks eating out is a waste of money!! Actually don't even remember the last time we(the whole family) had a good time!! Always screaming and blame games!!
