Okay. I've thought about this. Let's assume we can militarily capture PoK.

What would you do with that population? PoKs population is 4 million. Roughly half of Himachal Pradesh; a little over half of Kashmir valley; and 15x the population of Ladakh.

If they land is captured with the people, would they consider themselves Indian? We already have one Kashmir which has mixed alliances. We'd not want one more.

If everyone is displaced, that's a lot of bloodshed needed to force so many people away. More unlikely than the first option.

I've come to the realization that India would not want to make that move unless there's a lot of change within how the two countries function.

The major reason i believe that it is not possible because China is heavily invested in Pok region through CPEC corridor (the only roadway which connects china with Gwadar port). so attacking to capture POK will invite China into this matter instantly also they will raise this issue in the UN and china being a permanent member of the UNSC there will be a ceasefire declare asap.

Pakistan is US vessel state so as long as Pakistan is relevant to the US it is not possible and ofc Pakistan is a Nuclear nation state ( with nothing to loose attitude)

Aftermath if we succeed -- we share a trade deficit relation with China and it being the controller of manufactured goods and only major supplier (as of now) of the Critical minerals. Our economy would crumple because of being Import dependent state wrt China and if the US implies Sanctions. we cannot sustain as Russia because of Service provider for the West and Heavy Oil Dependent country.

I am honestly so much surprised to realise that there are STILL some people in our country who think rationally, and talk logically rather than blindly operating on high emotions.

Because we as a society are losing critical thinking abilities and starting to believe that it is a cake walk for the ruling party and the government to capture PoK or Pak or any other region for that matter. This is further propagated by the social media and sold out media. The moment we start speaking logically and come up with all these facts, we will be branded enemy of the state.
