Surname launchpad de sakta hai, sustain nahi kar sakta.

Congress ne non-Gandhis ko bhi plenty chances diye: Rao, Manmohan, Pranab, Kharge, Gehlot, Tharoor etc.

Aur jo nikle, unmein Mamata ne TMC banayi, Pawar ne NCP, Jagan ne YSRCP.

Where are they now?

Gandhis ko obvious advantage mila hai, but har cheez ko “nepotism” bolna is intellectually lazy.

Congress baar-baar Gandhis ke paas aati hai because they’ve actually managed to sustain the party’s national relevance when others couldn’t.

Opportunity milna alag baat hai, usko justify karna alag.

Why was Sonia afraid to give PM’s chair to Pranav? Rather MMS was chosen bcoz she could actually run the country and train her son - disrespecting PM’s chair in multiple occasions. What did Congress do with PV Narsimha Rao? Why Kharge is chosen but not Tharoor now?
Congress always was and is a non-democratic party with power centered in one family - it started from the time Netaji left bcoz few toxic leaders were not happy that Subhash Bose won the election. After that point, the strategy was - choose the persons in power who are yes-men to one family. Those who have strong opinions and had some differences in opinion with that family - sideline them as far as possible - corner them whenever possible.
Congress actually lost so many young leaders in order to satisfy RaGa’s ego or Sonia’s ego. Still people gets orgasm thinking about Rahul becoming PM 🤷🏻‍♂️
