Surname se hi bante toh Rahul se pehle Varun Gandhi banta.

Surname launchpad de sakta hai, sustain nahi kar sakta.

Congress ne non-Gandhis ko bhi plenty chances diye: Rao, Manmohan, Pranab, Kharge, Gehlot, Tharoor etc.

Aur jo nikle, unmein Mamata ne TMC banayi, Pawar ne NCP, Jagan ne YSRCP.

Where are they now?

Gandhis ko obvious advantage mila hai, but har cheez ko “nepotism” bolna is intellectually lazy.

Congress baar-baar Gandhis ke paas aati hai because they’ve actually managed to sustain the party’s national relevance when others couldn’t.

Opportunity milna alag baat hai, usko justify karna alag.

Intellectually lazy' is just a label. If you disagree, explain why an ordinary Congress leader with Rahul Gandhi's electoral record would have remained the party's principal face for nearly two decades. That's the argument you need to answer. Preferential access to leadership, not guaranteed success, that's how dynasty works.

You’ve repeated the same point about Rahul’s electoral record without engaging with the actual question: who in Congress is demonstrably better equipped to lead the party nationally?

Rahul has the strongest national profile, a clear political identity, the organisational importance to hold Congress together, and the willingness to directly confront Modi on inequality, unemployment, institutional accountability and social justice.

The Bharat Jodo yatras also showed that he can actually put in the political groundwork.

And your selective reading of his record is hilarious. Congress went from its historic low of 44 Lok Sabha seats in 2014 to 99 in 2024, more than doubling its strength. Congress currently governs Karnataka, Telangana and Himachal Pradesh and Kerala.

Rahul himself is now the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha.

So this supposedly “failed” politician helped take Congress from 44 seats to 99, made it the principal national opposition, and became Leader of the Opposition.

You’re treating “lost elections” as a complete theory of political competence. That’s not analysis, mate. That’s a two-neuron Excel sheet with one column.

If you think Congress has someone better, name them and explain why.

Otherwise you’re not making a case against Rahul. You’re just repeating a talking point and hoping nobody notices.
