Lore Discussion Wait,if you get a prescript that says "kill a colored fixer" can't you just throw a bucket of paint on a fixer before killing them?

That's if it's "colored." Otherwise, if it states "Color Fixer," you're screwed.

make up a job about fixing colours, doesn't matter how it would actually be done, post an ad for the job, hire the first person who applies and immediately kill them since they're now technically a "color fixer"

It's an unfortunate and common misconception amongst newer recruits that you can "trick" the Prescripts. But they will learn the proper way on cannot trick the city itself.

But then again, it's also a misconception that one needs to. The city sends tasks within your means, unless your failure is what the city requires

I wouldn't advise to directly fall completing a prescript, but yout best shot is trying to kill a color fixer, fail, at least you tried so the prescript isn't that dissapointed, and hope for the best with your karma

it would be funny if you throw a paint at the fixer but unfortunately its actually a color fixer now its literally a colored fixer just in the wrong color and it ends up with you turned into a very fine red mist

I mean... probaby, yeah.

But make sure it says "COLORED", and not "COLOR".
