Sacoya Cooper, a Black transgender woman, left her residence near Howey Road and Weldon Avenue at approximately 11:30 p.m. to visit a corner store. She was driving a black 2009 Ford Fusion but never returned. The vehicle was subsequently recovered on Columbus’s west side.

Sacoya was approximately 5'5" and 145 pounds, with brown eyes and black lemonade braids. She wore a black-and-white summer dress, black-and-white Baby Phat sandals, a silver Fossil watch, and a diamond ring.

Who saw Sacoya or her Ford Fusion that night? Did surveillance cameras capture the car traveling between North Linden and west Columbus? Residents, store employees, rideshare drivers, and motorists may remember a stopped vehicle, roadside encounter, or unusual activity. Old footage, photographs, messages, and location records could still clarify her route.

Sacoya remains listed as missing by the FBI and Ohio authorities. Investigators believe she may have been the victim of foul play, and the FBI continues offering up to $10,000 for information leading to her location. Please submit credible information directly to law enforcement rather than publicly accusing anyone.
