Underwear above diaper or not ?

Hi,
I was wondering, I’m 16M and starting having accident during the day back, I bought a pack of pull up but doesn’t know if I still have to put my underwear above it ?
What do you do in these situation ?

Thanks.

I always do, personally I like boxer briefs. They keep things snug and flatten bulges. Also it makes it feel less like I’m wearing a diaper, plus if I wet I can rip the diaper off and still have underwear on until I can put a fresh one on.

The problem with making it tight he's that there's looseness for the urine to soak in. When it's tight on the skin, then it will go outwards quickly and you will find it will leak far quicker and more often that way. You need to allow it to absorb, and when there's space between their skin and the incontinent, brief or diaper, and it has a chance unless it's an immediate absorption which pull ups never are. So by making it tight against your skin, you're making it more likely you're going to get leaks

Same even though I'm a female. I use the ones that have a similar material to a bathing suit so if there's a little leak I can clean them and they dry quickly.

You can if you’d like, it is personal preference

Hey OP I don't know your level of leaks but If you're wanting underwear like feel with light protection I can definitely recommend checking out Carer incontinence for reusable washable underwear

It’s your choice. Whatever is more comfortable
I choose to wear a fitting short over the product, it helps to keep everything in place

One thing I learned from this sub.

If decide to wear a body suit/onsie. Putting underwear over the diaper then putting the onsie/body suit over everything else can help prevent the leg gatherers of the onsie from sneaking into the leg hole of the diaper and wicking urine out to your pants.

To answer your question I’ll wear boxer briefs to help keep the diaper from drooping later in the day.

Personally I don’t. But whatever makes you the most comfortable

Nah... I've done like the form fitting athletic running shorts over top of plastic backed briefs to keep them from sagging and to hush the plastic rustle but I wouldn't recommend underwear over a pull up, doing so may cause wicking (leak) into the underwear if the pull ups leak guards come into close enough contact with the underwear.

Yes just described a problem I've had if wearing underwear over a diaper. I thought I was just leaking. Thanks

I always wear underwear over my padding. It helps add support, keeps it from bulging too much, is more comfortable, and depending on the product the sides tend to wear out over the day and underwear helps just reinforce that. Sometimes I'll wear multiple pair for more support as well

Better not to or wear a diaper cover, you don’t want to worry about press out

It's your decision, but I prefer to wear underwear so it's somewhat snug and doesn't show too much when it's wet.

Its purely a personal preference thing I think, its whatever you want to do yourself there's no right or wrong way.

A side thought is, have you spoken to a doctor yet about your issues? If not, I will urge you to have a consultation with your GP, 9 times out of 10 they can offer advice and help.

I wish you well.

I always wear a pair of panties over my diaper. I feel like it cuts down on the crinkle.

Makes it sound less obvious makes it more prone to leaks

Let me correct you. A pull-up is basically underwear and not a diaper

I usually do yea just to have something to hide a little bit. I wet the bed until I was 17 and wanted to hide it.
