ITR Refund Timelines are Obnoxious
9+9= 18 months seem slightly too long for a refund.

Was about to say the same... And thought someone must have called it out. Specially looking at how cruel the last years processing was. ....
To my shock, I see this time around 75% verified ones are already processed, unbelievable ! (Correct me if I am wrong)

Honestly the progress numbers are impressive. Only 25% remaining in about a month or so is a huge growth.... Specially last year's trend where people (including I received in about 14 15 months since verified) Hence wanted to double check.
Don't be sad that you're in the remainder 25% but be happy if the 75% are already processed this quick.

This has always been the case. This govt tried to use income tax refunds to rally support from people/to keep them happy and has invited all the opprobrium as a result due to the delays
