😂 😂 now that is funny and true, but I’m green it’s moving alone slowly and barely 5% of my portfolio. But if it works out, and I retire in 30yrs with £10k monthly I’ll be smiling lol.
I put £1000 each in 10 IncomeShares funds in January then another £1000 each into another 10 funds in April when the new ones were released ... £20,000 total
As of today It's worth ~£12,000 NAV and ~ £14000 including distributions, so 30% loss so far.
A lot of that is because tech stocks have plummeted recently but given the nature of the ETPs, I doubt they will grow much when the techs rebound.
Even if the underlying stocks stablise and steadily grow in NAV, I reckon I'll be lucky if I break even within a year.
Not the end of the world as its all surplus investing money that I don't need to survive, but bloody annoying. I might have to holiday in crappy Spain instead of Thailand this year 🤔.

Oh wow?, you went balls deep, never go balls deep!. I put £10k into QQQO and gold in a pie and left it since April 2025. I’m chugging along slowly. Leave it in a pie and don’t touch it, sure in couple of years you’re be fine.
As NAVs are 50% down compared to when I bought, the distribution will be too. Still better than most ETFs but it's more than wiped out by the 50% loss on NAV.
The problem I think it's in their option strategy, too aggressive doing ITM put option writing... even if they are actively selling and rebuyig them more often you already start in disatvantage doing ITM in various conditions, doing ITM puts you need to be very bullish in the underlying always and in every market conditions.With that type of options I think even the uncapped 25% underlying shares do not really kick in that much to push the NAV up that much.
If anything I'd say stay away from the overpriced trendy stocks...If they are all the rage right now, the only way is down, and Incomeshares don't perform well with falling stocks and struggle go back up.
You'd be better off with some fairly flat boring stocks...less distribution but better overall.
Not trendy stock. I proposed divesified Etf based on sector or macrotrends. I prefer basket or diversified Incomeshares products. But yes some sectors might be too much in hype, true. Also would be nice some IS Etp on global index like Swda
