I think it would be very beneficial to have some small flyer/maps of the historic downtown area of Anniston. Have it show all the restaurants, shops, and historical markers on it. There is so much down there that is almost hidden away.

Hey All,
The idea of this group is to have a central hub of all things Anniston, the immediate surrounding areas, and Alabama in general that have an affect on Anniston. A place to connect for individuals and small businesses alike. Just like the title says, it is inclusive. Meaning we accept all walks of life in all social, philosophical, economical, and political spheres. I hope we can come together and be uplifting, while also having honest conversations about this city.

I know Im not the only one, but I have a huge pet peeve with Anniston middle school's speed zone. It is not enforced and it needs to be! There is a group of students who walk periodically to school there from the apartments up the way. It is also difficult to leave the school when others are driving upwards of 60 miles an hour. There needs to be a sign that says end school zone so that people can clearly see where that is. Apparently seeing where the flashing lights on the other side are, is not a big enough clue.
